The mission of the organization is to provide quality educational content to the students and staff of the Indianapolis Public Schools. By doing this, it will also provide a vehicle through which students can learn about producing media. IPS Television is the television/video production, videoconferencing/distance learning, and CCTV programming provider for the school district. IPS students and staff utilize its services on a daily basis for student instruction as well as staff development and communication with the community. As time and technology have advanced, so has the department's desire and need to be at the forefront of media production in order to better serve the district.
